Water Jug

The Water Jug is a large jerry can for water. It is a refillable water container that is non-craftable and is found in Food Crates. It is also purchasable in Bandit Camp for 5 scrap each. When found, the Water Jug will contain around 250 ml of drinkable Water. The Water Jug can be filled from open water sources, as well as the Small and Large Water Catchers.

The capacity of the Water Jug is 5,000 mL of water, as opposed to 500 mL from the Bota Bag or 250 mL from the Small Water Bottle. This makes the Water Jug the largest portable form of water storage in Rust.

When in water where the "Drink" option is possible - right click to fill the container. Wait for the sound to complete to click again.

The water Jug can be used to water crops. This is done by left clicking when the jug is equipped. All the water will be thrown out.
