Added discussion about Server Settings[]

Server Settings

I have added this section which is missing from all wikis and forums. This matter is being discussed all over the place however there is no wiki entry or thread that makes it clear how Rust really handles decay with the server settings.

The information used to make the formulas and the graph was taken from Gliktchs post which seems to provide an explaination of the server settings which is closest to what Rust actually uses. I haven't fully tested whether or not the formulas are correct down to the second but they are correct at least to the resolution of one day.

Please correct any errors or mistakes in this section if you find any. I can't help you if you don't let me (talk) 11:50, July 7, 2014 (UTC)

Hello

This is a message to the rust maker. I am experiencing trouble with greifers and traps made by them. If you can make a way where walls can be broken (or replaceable), I'd highly appreciate it. The reason I'm also setting this up is due to the fact a person taking advantage of wooden walls being invincable to melee damage. His steam tag is lua. He takes advantage of this effect in non pvp servers in order to force his "hostages" to either leave the stuff or die in the pit. EIther way, they still die. Then when others come around, they will be unable to help due to the fact of lacking c4 or just plain out unable to find you. Please update the game in order to break down walls. Thank you.
