The Roadsign Jacket is a mid-tier chest armor that can be crafted with Leather, Road Signs and Sewing Kits. Only 2 points better than Bone Armor, it shares the (lesser) cost of Leather with the Metal Armor, which, conversely, is a not much higher difference of +4 points to protection. The Metal Facemask, however, is a whopping +11 points higher than the next lowest available Head Armor, so your resource economy might lead you to consider which is "thicc" to craft. Furthermore it has a negative reduction to your Cold level so you may also wish to consider the Bone chest armor instead as it does not.

The back of the Road Sign Jacket says "Top Kek"
It is similar to, and may have been inspired by the makeshift roadsign armor found in the Fallout: New Vegas downloadable content "Lonesome Road" which is also most likely based on Mad Max and other "post apocalyptic / road warrior" etc type pop culture.
Originally when this item was made, it took up both the under and over layer of the torso. Now, it can be worn with an applicable shirt.
