The Player In The Game Named Rust. The Player spawns with a rock, torch and 2 bandages.

Players are represented as naked men when spawned, but can acquire clothing later in the game.

There are no women in Rust. One developer has stated that "there are no women because of The Virus" [citation needed]. Contrary to this theory, however, there is no model for a zombie female...Whilst for obvious reasons as stated how players are represented once first spawning in the world would cause disturbance and a unwanted reputation.

Interaction

Most players are Bandits (Just Like In DayZ). Players can build things around the map. As of the current stage of alpha, there are no official factions but some players have teamed up and formed Alliances

PvP (Player versus Player) is a common sight in Rust, so it is recommended that you are cautious around other players. However, some players may be Friendlies, or non-aggressive players.

Negative Players, Hackers, cheaters, and the untrustworthy why the game is where it is today. Players are cautious and not trustworthy due to the game's mechanics. This is attributed to the lack of updates and dubbed a 'early access bubble.' Due to the over swarming of servers and attributes hackers, and cheaters have been fighting the corporation on how the game is to be played. Hackers do not play by the rules and are the main concern of the company behind the products and therefore are compared to the //.hack. By this phrase in the series the unknown and unthinkable was possible someone was stuck in a RPG.

Hackers have a culture rich culture behind them which is often best read from Ghost in the Wires. By Kevin Mitnick a famous hacker who only hacked for knowledge not money. These hackers are social engineers who are very tricky to tackle because they have a world where the code is non-source based, open and in early access, the world may never cease to have hackers who are able to create worlds within 'old code.' (another hack reference.) Where the servers have codes from a older update hackers are able to hide information through their mischievous ways. Hackers also have methods for moving data, accessing accounts, etc. The Dangers of a early access game are quite serious as a final product may not be released without proper assertion. The game states on the early access page they do not know when or how long the release game will take. The game may be unfinished. Trolling hackers are common. The most infamous are Anonymous. These hackers cause unnecessary slow downs within the company despite the claims of releases once a week if possible. The second concern of how players interact is cheaters. Cheaters cause troubles for a variety of reasons. Like hackers, which could eliminate a world or help contribute to a manual reset forgoing everyone's things. Cheaters are VAC banned and furthermore punished within the community. The developers of the game have stated that there are concerns to this issue and are developing a 'bot' which will tackle security issues. The last players of negative origin are griefers.

Grieving for the most part has been encouraged by the recent updates allowing servers to be free roam and instead of single player-ed areas. This allows distrust amongst the community because originally the games were limited in scope of who and what could access content. Servers do not have scopes or gates. Until certain measures are implemented it is hard to scope what is in future for Rusts as the new updates are being implemented. Gary has stated they are working to the best of their knowledge and even states the game is 10% done. (Rust Early access page free info paraphrased and interpreted.) One of the causes of cheating is players shooting each other on sight. Players who are new do not play the game very long until they find this issue. Many players are discouraged from ever playing again because they feel they wasted money on a game. If the newer player is resourceful enough they will cheat to get what they want because players shoot the newbies. There is a wide segregation gap between the player base which causes lots of hatred towards. For example if all of the newbies in a server banned together the economy might balance out. The escalation might lead to hacking if the player cannot receive their needs. This only feeds on a negative situation which is escalating rapidly and Rust Developers are addressing with the upcoming patch. Hackers really have attributed in ironic fashions how the game has shaped itself today. Hackers have caused implementation of a security system which may have been implemented months ago without their negative effects within the community. However, undesirable. Hackers also have attributed to shaping the world within the game by forcing communities to band together.

player's roles.

Player's abilities. Currently players are able to create traps, build houses, and even run servers. There are no limitations on the abilities. Which is apart of Rust. In essence rust is a huge experiment to see how players band together to form the world as they implement more objects into the world. It could be entirely possible that the Developers are creating a slow process in order to create maximum efficiency to thoroughly check each and every part to make sure the players are happy with the development. This is a tactic in design processes known as environmental monitoring, and design implementation. Players are in a social network, and creating sudden change would damage Rusts' developer's reputation if there was backlash. One strategy companies take in order to create a better environment is called the scientific experimentation. Analyze one aspect at a time. As of February 2014 the developers are working on a security system. Once the security system is implemented the company may receive positive or negative feedback. Once they see players are happy, or dissatisfied they take note and respond according the the environmental analysis. One may state that a player can be subject to a guinea pig. This is apart of the EULA agreement with steam that the player is subject to the contract and purchase of a early access. In return the player is allowed to play the game and give feedback. There are many controversies on the subject matter which are attributed to a split on how early access should run with players.
