—Information accurate as of: 904.83 Update
Charcoal is the by-product of burning Wood in an ignited Camp Fire, regular Furnace or Large Furnace.
The Large Furnace, Small Furnace or Camp Fire will then convert Wood to Charcoal at a rate of 1 : 0.75. The speed of the conversion varies, the fastest being the Small Furnace, then Large furnace, then the slowest being the Camp Fire.
The conversion rate is not fixed, but rather per each piece of Wood consumed, there is between 70% and 80% chance for Charcoal to be generated.
In the long run, Wood will on average be converted to 75% charcoal.
Usage[]
